Can the Bissell proHeat 2x carpet cleaner suck up water from the floor?

A certain someone keeps bothering me about the bissell carpet cleaner being able to suck up water from the floor.I don’t think it can because i just tried it a few minutes ago nothing happened.All i found was a HUGE puddle of water still sitting there. -_-

dont let the water sit there for too long because it can cuase damage to the carpeting, mold, and a whole bunch of other gross things. Get the water up and clean your carpets with another product. return your carpet cleaner, there’s something wrong with it.
