Carpet Cleaning Products

What is a great product for cleaning carpet? I have thought about renting a deep cleaning vacume?

from walmart, but the room I need to clean is really small. I’m guessing that it would probably be less expensive and wouldn’t be very much trouble to scrub it manually. Does anyone know of a carpet cleaner that I could use on all of my carpet? Thank you!

Manually scrubbing your floor may be less expensive but believe me, they will NEVER be as clean as if you rent a carpet shampooer. I have my carpets shampooed once a year and I’m always disgusted at the amounts of dirt in the cleaner when I finish. Even though I keep my house very clean the dirt finds a way into the carpet. Trust me, rent a shampooer, your carpets will look new again.
