Cormar Carpets Voted Best Carpet Manufacturer 2011

After picking up Interiors Monthly Best Customer Service Award for the past two years running, Cormar Carpets have gained further recognition for their service and won the flooring trade publications Best Carpets Manufacturer Award 2011. Announced in the magazines August edition, Editor Andrew Kidd said that the accolades are awarded to companies that are the best at what they do and who constantly strive to be better.

David Judge, Cormar Carpets Managing Director said of the award: “There’s no doubting that the economic climate is very tough, but we have continued to invest in our business – in terms of machinery, products, systems development and most importantly – people. And this has meant that the quality, value and service we can provide carpet retailers has continued to improve as well.”

This new award is the third to have been given to Cormar Carpets in 2011, having been awarded the Supplier of the Year Award by Independent Carpet Retailer Buying Groups, Flooring One and Metro Group. In the last ten years, Cormars has won a total of 27 awards.

Cormar Carpets are one of British Manufacturing’s success stories, continuing to produce their high quality easy clean and wool carpet ranges at their mills in Bury, Lancashire. Products are then distributed to retailers throughout the UK and Eire using the company’s own transport fleet.
