Do store rented carpet cleaners really work or should I hire a professional to clean my carpets?
If you can find one that is new, a store cleaner can work, but usually they have been so “overworked’ that they don’t always pull the water like they should. Risky. You could hire someone to do the work and I’m sure that they will do a wonderful job, in the past I used Sears and was very happy. But these days you can purchase a steam cleaner at very reasonable prices. I did and love having one around, I feel like it was really worth it to buy one.
