removing yellow stains from baby clothes that have been stored for years?

After 16 years i have pulled out my youngest daughters baby clothes to find yellow staining on them. The stains were not there when i stored them.
Is there any way i can remove these stains?

Before you do anything rash, look at the stains. If they are just yellow blobs, soak in “all color bleach” overnight in a bucket. If the stains are in a “star” shape like the Christmas star, they are oil stains and should be treated as such. Stains that appear during storage are usually the result of something on the garment before storage (not seen or invisible) that have oxidized with the passage of time. Oil stains always “wick” out along the fibers and form the shape of a star. Sugar stains just turn yellowish brown.
